The Tuscarora Grain Company team understands just what it takes to be a top organic producer. Founders Andrew Smyre and Chris Johnson grew up working on family and neighboring farms and know the craft of modern farming inside and out. Even today, they farm organic row crops and vegetables in the rich soils of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Working with TGC opens up new market opportunities for both growers and end-users. Founded in 2020, the company was built on the belief that creative thinking opens doors to distinct opportunities in the grain commodities industry. TGC responsibly purchases, ships and markets products that play an essential role in modern life. These products include whole grain for feeding, milling, covering crops, and we supply specialty ingredients, as well as provide OMRI-approved organic fertilizers.
Commodities are transported by truck and rail, and TGC services include storage, processing and delivery. By working with TGC, customers get what they need, and they get it when they need it.
With a solid grower network throughout the United States, paired with our own company-owned rail transportation facility, TGC owns one of the few US-based organic farm-to-feed and farm-to-fork ingredient supply chains in the organic grain industry.
Our aim is simple and focused: to responsibly source and market organic and non-GMO products at an unmatched value for our clients.
